D.R.I. (or Dirty Rotten Imbeciles) is a crossover thrash band from the United States that formed in Houston, in 1982. Since 1999, the band comprises founding members, vocalist Kurt Brecht and guitarist Spike Cassidy, as well as drummer Rob Rampy and bassist Harald Oimoen.
D.R.I. never gained a mainstream audience, but the integration of their hardcore punk roots with thrash metal influences was a stylistic catalyst for their contemporaries —most notably Suicidal Tendencies, Corrosion of Conformity, and Stormtroopers of Death— alongside whom they are considered pioneers of what would later be called "crossover thrash."

C.C. STORM RETURNS IN 2021!
It's been 5 years since the release of C.C. Storm's debut album, "Passionately Angry", and he's played a handful of shows since its release, but that doesn't mean he's kept a quiet life.
We caught up with him as he about to debut his new band, "C.C. Storm & The Aftermath".
C.C., where have you been?
C.C.: A lot of things have happened over the last 5 years. I have been wanting to piece to together a new band since the first Aftermath band went away. Johnny O moved to Ohio, and Duane Falconer has been busy with other projects. My drummer, Pat Caruso, has been my constant stand by.
But, as life would have it, life does happen when you're busy making plans. I bounced around from job to job. I took a huge financial pitfall in 2017, but thank God my girlfriend was there. We ended up moving in together and two years ago and we ended up buying a house.
Since the Pandemic arrived last year, it allowed me to slow down and really focus on putting a new band together. Had the vaccines not arrived when they did, we'd probably still be sitting at home twiddling our thumbs. Since life is getting back to normal, I was able to make this new band happen.
Tell us about your band and who's in it?
C.C.: Well, as you know, Pat Caruso, who has played with me since my time in Missing Zelda, has stayed with me. He's a solid drummer who has played with practically everyone in town. But we're east coast boys and we are loyal to that edict. I'm thrilled he is still with me.
On guitars? I have an old Musician's Institute friend who's name is Lenny J. Lenny and I met back in the early 's 90's when I was studying bass and he was studying guitar. Lenny is now a teacher at Musician's Institute but he recently relocated to Las Vegas. When he moved here, I didn't need to audition him. I said, "I am putting together a new band. You're my guitarist. Period." He was like, "Okay!" No questions asked. It was that simple.
Lenny brings a solid foundation to the band. He's a great producer and he has really shaped the songs as you hear them now. I could not have asked for a better guy and a better friend for this. Here's an interesting little footnote about Lenny. Lenny was in the movie, "Get Him To The Greek", back in 2010 starring, Jonah Hill and Russell Brand. Lenny for the most part plays himself as Russell Brand's guitarist. He's in the movie a lot. Great movie. It's super funny of you haven't seen it. It's the spinoff movie to, "Forgetting Sarah Marshall".
When it came time to add a second guitarist, I put the word out but nobody was exactly beating down my front door to get in. Lenny suggested, Grant Young. He and Lenny were roommates in Hollywood CA, before Lenny and his wife moved to Vegas. Grant was looking to relocate as well. Truth be told, Grant was driving from Hollywood to Vegas each week just to rehearse. That's a hell of a commute, but he was doing it. That showed me his dedication. I'm quite certain it had a lot to do with his 20 years in the United States Marine Corp. It shows his discipline.
Once Grant finished his relocation, we diligently began writing this new album. Our first single, "Beck and Call", is about to hit the airwaves and we cannot wait to get out there and play and show you this new band.
Sounds exciting! When can we start streaming the new album and what is the title?
C.C.: The album is going to be called, "Rise The Horizon", and we hope to have it out by year's end. It will be available on all streaming services, and physical copies will be made available at Zia Records here in Vegas, or on our website, ccstormonline.com. Pre-orders are now available. We are still hoping for worldwide distribution of the cd and if can get enough orders, we'll press some vinyl too. We'll see.
Everyone in the band contributed to the songwriting process and we wanted to make this a fun record. No more heartbreak/woah-is-me, albums. "Passionately Angry" purged my anger. I'm so happy with my life right now, I could kiss the sky!
Thank you, C.C! We look forward to hearing the new band/album, and we look forward to meeting the guys as well.

CHUCK N. BAKER (the “N” stands for Nevada) is a singer-songwriter-musician who swears he was kidnapped in the early 60’s and kept prisoner, away from popular music for many years. When he was finally released, he found that the only kind of music he could play was the kind he remembered from the 1950’s. Even when he plays music from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, it often comes out sounding like the 50s. And the original music he writes, well, you know the answer. When you see and listen to “Chuck N. Baker Tribute to the Oldies” it’s the music of Fats Domino and Ritchie Valens, Dion & the Belmonts, Neil Diamond, Elvis, Johnny Rivers, Chuck Berry, Ricky Nelson, Smoky Robinson, Darlene Love, the Penguins, the Platters, Barry Manilow, Creedence Clearwater— and all the other guys (and a few ladies) you remember and love. Over the years he has released a number of songs as a soloist and a back-up musician. His latest song is currently on Spotify and other music sites — “Earthquake Shakin’ the Land” on the Very Interesting LLC label. “That song is very broad based,” Baker said of his original composition. “It could fit into playlists from the 70s up to today.” We can’t vouch for the kidnapping story, but when you watch him and hear him perform, you’ll know that his is honest nostalgia at its best, played by a musician who lived through it the first time.

Maryann Cotton is a Danish / American (Singer) and Hard Rock band.
The group is very influenced by bands such as Alice Cooper, Kiss, Lou Reed, and Queen.
Maryann is Associated with some of the world’s greatest rock bands of all time, and has been a part or involved with clients such as Alice Cooper, Motorhead, Europe, King Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Kiss, and many other bands.
In 2011 the singer Maryann began to work on his debut album ''Free Falling Angels'', and a year later in 2012 he released the album via Pure Steel Records.
The album was recorded by the original King Diamond band from 1989/1990 and it received massive publicity since it was the first time in twenty years that the band played together on an album again.
In the summer of 2013, Maryann got to work with the late great world famous songwriter and producer Dick Wagner and Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, KISS, and Lou Reed collaborator.
Dick and Maryann wrote a full concept album together, and Dick brought in Alice Cooper to write songs together with Maryann. Dick Wagner died in 2014 just before the final recordings, so they never reached the studio process, and the album never came out, but the story and album will see the light of day when the right time comes.
Maryann was honored to perform at the “Dick Wagner Memorial Concert” at the Fillmore in Detroit in 2015, where he shared the stage and celebrated his beautiful friendship and majestic legacy together with many of his idols from Aerosmith, Grand Funk, Ted Nugent, KISS, Alice Cooper, Michael Jackson, and so on.
In the spring of 2015 Maryann began together with partner and bassist Hal Patino (King Diamond), writing his 2nd album '' Into Eternity '', which was released in November 13, 2015 via German company 7Hard Records which he recently signed a worldwide deal with.
The album consists of 10 strong rock songs, which deals with topics ranging from Maryann's personal tour experiences, to love stories, and to shocking issues such as necrophilia and cannibalism. It is a very experimenting album, with lots of piano pieces, horn and string sections, church choir, opera voices, toy boxes, and more - all combined with guitar driven hard rock tunes.
'' I am very proud of this album, it is very representative of what Maryann Cotton is and what we are as a band ''
With a stage show that features knives, fake blood, fire, and violence Maryann is considered by fans and peers alike to be "The Prince Of Shock Rock" with energetic live performances he has made plenty of positive publicity around the world. He has drawn equally from horror movies, vaudeville, and garage rock to pioneer a theatrical brand of rock designed to entertain and shock people.

There are those that would tell you that Rock and Roll is dead. Who can blame them with all the teen stars and reality TV show contest winners crowding the music charts, occupying spots once held by bands such as Van Halen, Boston and Journey. Rock fans need to not give up hope but to look at the thriving tribute band scene to see that rock and roll isn’t dead but alive and well. That Rock and Roll spirit was in full force Friday at The Canyon Club. On any night in Southern California, in any club or bar you can find bands paying tribute to the bands that have gone before them. Tribute bands are bands out there playing the music that inspired them. They are embracing not only the spirit of their favorite bands but of rock and roll itself.
Heart Love Alive hit the stage Friday as well, rockin’ The Canyon Club in Agoura Hills with a spirit all their own. Led by Patricia Morales and Jeannie Austin, Heart Love Alive share their namesakes ability to move between lush ballads and straight ahead rockers with ease. This is due in no small part to the multi-talented band members. Austin plays guitar while sharing lead vocal duties, taking the lead on “These Dreams”, giving it the dreamy feel of the original. Keyboardist Larry Seger switches between the keys and guitar with seemingly no effort. However, it’s the charisma and powerful voice of Morales that draws the crowd in. When she lead the band into crowd favorite “Barracuda”, very few people were left in their seats! Another crowd favorite, “Crazy On You” showcased Jeannie Austin, Larry Seger ,and Andrew Jay Magnuson on guitars and with the rhythm section of Dale Allen and Adam Leon, the band delivered the power rocker with the same “balls to the wall” spirit that drove Heart’s debut single and made it one of their signature songs! The crowd, already pumped up after Queen Nation, loved the mix of ballads and rockers and Heart Love Alive had no problem giving the crowd what they want!
If you are one of those that think rock and roll is dead, check out these bands next time they play near you! They are talented, energetic and bring the spirit of rock to each song they play. They both put on a show that will have you waving your fist and lighters in the air just like “back in the day”. You won’t be disappointed.

– “My God, I’ve found the Holy Grail of thrash!!” – Encyclopaedia Metallum
– “Gotta love it when you find very straight ahead, no bullshit metal to warm your steel heart, and make you feel alive!!” – MetalBite.com
– “They’re not overly flashy, and they don’t stretch out their songs… these three speed metal shredders just get it done with vicious quickly shifting three minute thrashers that blow your mind before you pinpoint their sound! There’s no self-indulgent, ego-stroking pretense here, just blazing distortion, aggressive growls, and a rhythm section that makes you want to break something!!” – Scott Recker (Toledo City Paper)
– “Ohio three piece MOBILE DEATHCAMP play some pummeling no holds barred speed metal. Their songs are straight forward old school metal assaults, with crossover appeal!!” – SMN News
DEAN Guitars, Randall Amplification, Spector Basses, SIT Strings, Railhammer Pickups, CAD Audio, XCel Drumsticks, Saluda Cymbals, Jim Dunlop, Morley Pedals, and COLDCOCK American Herbal Whiskey, have all expressed their confidence and respect for the band by securing them in endorsement deals. Unsigned and self-represented, MOBILE DEATHCAMP has managed to average around 200 dates per year, with several high profile shows, including spots on Jagermeister Tours, Rock Star Mayhem Festival, and assorted Thrash Festivals around the country.
A short list of some notable bands these boys have shared the stage with would include: VOIVOD, Slayer, 3 Inches of Blood, Cannibal Corpse, GWAR, Behemoth, Skeletonwitch, Type O Negative, Hatebreed, Red Fang, Megadeth, Disturbed, Kreator, Rob Zombie, and Lamb of God.
“No dicks, no bad days!”, is the motto these fellers bring into every club they load in to. A three piece band that makes as much (good) noise as a five piece band. Book them into your club/venue… put them on you tour… then get up front and enjoy!!
MOBILE DEATHCAMP… speed metal, just like Mom used to make. Cheers!!
